This project started with the idea of new art, renovated for the campus entrance of OSU in Wooster. We were hired to develop a scene around the sculpture and a wall to keep the focal point on the art. The sculpture represents the building blocks of research that OARDC does each and every day.
Once the sculpture was in place we were able to design around it to make a centralized focus using hardscape design, florals and plantings to add a shimmer of color surrounding the art design. Our project services include:
The OARDC Fisher Fountain features small fountains, 15 tons of glacial stone symbolizing Ohio’s soil and fields, large open cubes made from gleaming metal rods evoking streams and flowing water, and some 70 bronze castings representing the “astounding” wide range of OARDC’s research.
