About the Project: The Easton Town Center is a mecca for entertainment, dining, and upscale shopping. The Town Center is actually a small, new town developed with city streets, a central Town Square, parking garages and numerous outdoor dining patios and merchant display areas. James Burkart Associates, Inc. developed streetscape corridors utilizing thoughtfully placed street trees, light poles, London telephone booths, and other streetscape amenities, all enhanced by unique building facades. The Town Square is a gathering space highlighted by an interactive pop fountain enjoyed by children and adults as they thread their way through 32 programmable water jets. As winter approaches, the Town Square is converted into an ice skating rink. Special events including musical groups, a farmers market, art shows, etc. are held on a regular basis in the Town Square.
