About the Project: Ohio University Athletic Mall
Expansion plans initiated for the Ohio University Grover Hall necessitated the use of adjacent space currently occupied by the Varsity Baseball program. The University Athletic Department, in conjunction with baseball fund raising efforts, was interested in achieving a unified sports complex, "Athletic Mall". A previous master plan failed to achieve a coherent complex and therefore James Burkart Associates, Inc. developed the new master plan. Construction drawings for the baseball stadium and softball field phase of the master plan were completed by the James Burkart Associates, Inc. team.
