About the Project: Kitsmiller Crossing
Kitsmiller Crossing is an up scale housing development located East of Columbus in an area known for its equestrian farm estates, clubs and trails. To complement the appeal of this rural township roadway experience and create an appropriate entry into the development, James Burkart Associates, Inc. utilized country and farm icons. Dark brown wood horse fencing parallels Clark State Road, and is also found on adjacent properties. Small storage structures designed to resemble barns were built with housing model units to reinforce the rural atmosphere of the entry. Crabapple orchards, stone walls, and farm gardens enhance the experience.
